C3AI Detailed 3rd Workshop Program
C3AI Detailed 3rd Workshop Program
Half-Day Workshop (tbd)
Workshop Programme
Time: 13:30–16:30
Introduction to the workshop goals, organisers, and agenda. We will briefly present the C3AI series and frame the workshop around Responsible AI for children, focusing on trust, critical engagement, agency, inclusion, and children’s rights.
Randi Williams will give an invited talk on children, AI literacy, and Responsible AI, helping frame how children can question AI outputs, recognise limitations, and develop appropriate trust.
A moderated discussion on how Responsible AI for children can move from principles to practice, including trust, agency, children’s rights, inclusion, human oversight, and the roles of parents, caregivers, educators, designers, and policymakers.
Accepted authors will present posters or visual summaries of their 2-page position papers. This session will support informal discussion, networking, and identification of shared challenges across submissions.
Participants will work in small groups on stakeholder-oriented scenarios involving child–AI interaction. Groups will identify risks, opportunities, responsible design choices, evaluation challenges, and possible indicators for Responsible AI with children.
Each group will briefly share key insights, including one challenge, one proposed principle or construct, and one possible evaluation question or indicator.
Final synthesis of key themes and next steps for the C3AI community, including possible post-workshop outputs such as a report, collaborative paper, or special issue contribution.
